Abel Harana

Abel Harana, a flamenco dancer born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cadiz, began in the art at a very early age, taking classes with teachers such as José Antonio Benitez (Antonio Gades Company), Ana María López, Joaquín Grilo, Manolo Marín, El Güito and, later in Madrid with Domingo Ortega, Antonio Reyes and La China. He won his first dance prize at the age of 18 at the National Contest, “Noches de Bajo de Guía”. Since then, he has worked in numerous tablaos inside and outside Spain touring the World as part of Rafael de Córdoba, José Porcel, María Pagés, Pepa Montes, and Ricardo Miño, with whom he premiered his own choreography for the Bienal de Sevilla (Seville Biennial) at the Lope de Vega Theater.
